You will need:
- 1/2 METER OF VEILING (HERE)
- FACINATOR BASE (HERE)
- A NEEDLE (HERE)
- MATCHING THREAD (HERE)
Method:
1. Double thread your needle and secure with a knot.
2. Decide the length you want your veiling and shorten if necessary.
3. Gather your veiling from the centre (or raw edge if shortened) and stitch your veiling to secure
4. Centre the gathered veiling on the headpiece and when you are happy with the angle stitch onto the base.
5. Begin to gather the veiling in from the right side and attach to the right side of the base.
6. Repeat the same process for the left side.
Hint: Make sure when the veiling is gathered that each ripple in the veiling curves away from your face. If this is not done the veiling will be too close and may irritate the skin or catch eyelashes.
