Shipping & Delivery FAQ's

Where is my order?

You will recieve a status update email once your order has been shipped containing your tracking code. Follow the link to track your parcel, or track with An Post here >> Online Track & Trace

Check the estimated delivery date

We aim to process your order within two working days of you placing the order. An Post Track and Trace items are normally delivered one to two working days after posting. There is no postal delivery or collection on weekends or bank holidays.

My tracking link isn't showing any information

Online Track & Trace has the latest information on your post. Tracking is updated throughout the day when An Post scan your post or parcel, as it moves through their network. If you're not getting results, please check back later.

How can I track an international order?

When posting internationally, your item will be first sorted in one of An Post's national mail centres. It will then be sent either by air or road to the postal service of the country you have sent the item to.

You can track the item first by using the An Post Track and Trace tool, but once it has left Ireland you should then track it on the tracking service of the destination country.

I got an email saying my order has been shipped, but it is still delayed or missing, what do I do?

Once you have tracking information from us, An Post will be able to give you the most up-to-date information regarding the whereabouts of your parcel. Please contact their customer care team here.

If you placed your order on a Friday evening, close to a bank holiday, or over the Christmas period, please note delays can be expected.

In the rare occassions your order has been deemed 'Missing' by An Post, we will of course step in and resend your order.

I haven't received an order update from you

You should receive three automatic status update emails from us throughout your order process.

  • The first will be to confirm your order and payment have been successful. You order will be marked as "Awaiting Fulfillment", meaning we've got it - and our staff are in the process of collecting the items for you.
  • The second will be to inform you that your order is "Awaiting Shipment" and is packed and ready for An Post to collect it from our store.
  • The third will inform you that your order has been "Shipped". This email will contain your tracking information.

If you haven't recieved any of those emails, there may be a typo in the email address you used to check out. Please email us at info@vibesandscribes.ie with your full name and order date and we can help to find out whether or not your order was successful.

I received an email saying my order is "Pending"

This happens when the item you've ordered turns out to be out of stock. We try our best to have accurate stock inventory counts, but unfortunately, this isn't always possible.

We will let you know as soon as possible when this happens, and inform you of the item(s) in question, whether we have a similar alternative and if and when the item(s) can be reordered.

I've chosen to Collect in Store

All click and collect order can be picked up at our Arts and Craft Store on Bridge St. Please wait until you have recieved an email from us stating your order is ready for collection before you arrive to collect it. If you arrive before receiving this e-mail, there is no guarantee that your order will be ready.

There is no online order collection from our either of our bookshops.

Our holding time for click and collect orders is 14 days. If you're unable to pick up your order within 14 days please call us on 021 4505370 as we may be able to extend the holding period. Orders that have not been collected within this time frame will be refunded.

My order has been marked by An Post as delivered, but I haven't received it

In some cases this can mean that your item has been 'Delivered' to your nearest depot or post office, left with a neighbour, or someone in your household has signed and recieved the parcel in your place. Please check these options before contacting us or An Post.

My order has been 'Returned to Sender'

If An Post or your tracking information is displaying this information, it mean delivery has failed on your order and it is being returned to us at our Arts & Crafts store in Cork.

Once we have your order, we will contact you to let you know and ask you whether or not you'd like it to be resent, or a refund.

If you'd like your order to be resent we will have to charge you the additional postal costs. Our staff will arrange to do this with you at the time.

If you opt for a refund, your order value will be refunded but not your original shipping fee.
