COURSE AIMS:

Over the two weeks of hour long classes, you will get taught the basics of a number of crochet techniques with our experienced staff Bronagh and Beibhinn. Learn how to make a granny square scarf.

Week 1: Getting Started

• Learn how to form three basic stitches - the chain, single crochet and treble crochet - and begin to make the granny square.

Week 2: Fixing Mistakes

• Now that you've had a week of practice (and inevitably made a few boo-boos along the way!) We'll talk about the common mistakes and how to fix them as well as how to improve your ability and technique to master the granny square.
• You've learnt to make one square - now we'll learn how to join them together.
