Description
HEADLANDS is the fourth book from renowned Irish landscape photographer Norman McCloskey. This monograph takes the photographer back to the southwest coast of Ireland, specifically to the area of West Cork, the first place he traveled to with his camera in 1992, to complete a trilogy of books made in the South West of Ireland over the last decade.
The book features 114 stunning images captured along the coast and inland from Kinsale to the Beara Peninsula over a period of three years, with the photographer returning to familiar places and discovering the majority of locations for the first time.
The renowned Scottish photographer Bruce Percy has provided a foreword, offering insights into the approach photographers take when working in the landscape, which is often a profound experience.
