Description

The cables in our Cassidy hat run from the brim to the crown. Tralee based Daniel Griffin has designed a beautiful cabled hat for Yarn Vibes. He has included a 1 x 1 rib to the brim to ensure a snug fit. This pattern is suitable for both men and women. The colours that can be seen in his finished hat and the matching Aidan mittens are always close to Daniel when he is knitting outdoors by the lake. The shades of greens and blues that can be seen are ever-changing but also ever-present.

The hat pictured is knitted in the shade "Winding Stream".

Kit Includes:

  • 1 x 100g Skein Yarn Vibes 100% Irish Worsted Weight Yarn.
  • 1 x Exclusively designed knitting pattern.
  • 1 x Luxury Canvas Yarn Vibes Tote Bag.

Needles not included (Unless Selected) - pattern requires 1 x 4.50mm Circular Knitting Needles.

You will also need:

  • Cable needle. Available here!

Daniel Griffin Tralee, Ireland

Daniel Griffin is an Irish knitwear designer from Tralee in Co. Kerry. Daniel first began knitting when he broke his leg and needed something to occupy him while he recovered. He learnt to knit during this time and has not looked back since. Daniel enjoys knitting and views it as a fantastic means of relaxing following a long, busy day at work. Daniel especially enjoys knitting out doors, by a lake close to where he lives. This picturesque setting is where a great deal of the inspiration for his colour choices and patterns come from. He is inspired by the jagged edges of the mountains and ridges around him and the soft colours of the environs.
