Jo Nesbo

Jo Nesbo is a number one New York Times bestselling Norwegian crime writer, whose books have sold sixty million copies worldwide and been translated into fifty languages. He is best known for his long-running series featuring troubled Oslo detective Harry Hole, which includes The Snowman, The Leopard, Knife, and Killing Moon. A Netflix series based on the Harry Hole books premiered in March 2026. His standalone novels include Headhunters, The Son, and Macbeth, and he is a recipient of the Raymond Chandler Award for Lifetime Achievement. Before writing, Nesbo worked as a stockbroker and performed as a musician.
