Leigh Bardugo is the number one New York Times bestselling author and creator of the Grishaverse, a sweeping fantasy universe that has become a global phenomenon since its debut in 2012. The Grishaverse spans the Shadow and Bone trilogy, the Six of Crows duology, and the King of Scars duology, all adapted into a Netflix original series. Her adult novels include the dark academia Ninth House and its sequel Hell Bent, and the historical fantasy The Familiar. Born in Jerusalem and raised in Los Angeles, she graduated from Yale University and is an associate fellow of Pauli Murray College at Yale. She lives in Los Angeles.
