Paddy Donnelly
Paddy Donnelly is a bestselling, award-winning Irish author and illustrator of picture books, originally from the north coast of Ireland and now based in Belgium. He has created over 25 picture books, including The Vanishing Lake, Fox and Son Tailers, The Golden Hare, Dodos Are Not Extinct, Wolves in Helicopters, and Badger Books. The Golden Hare won Children's Book of the Year (Junior) at the Irish Book Awards, Fox and Son Tailers won the Literacy Association of Ireland Biennial Children's Book Award in 2023, and in the same year he won the Judges' Special Award at the KPMG Children's Books Ireland Awards. He has been nominated for the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Illustration and his books have been published in many languages worldwide.
