R. F. Kuang
R.F. Kuang is the number one New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author of fantasy and literary fiction, whose work spans multiple genres with striking range and ambition. Her books include the grimdark Poppy War trilogy, the Oxford-set dark academia novel Babel: An Arcane History, the publishing satire Yellowface, and the 2025 dark academia fantasy Katabasis. Her work has won the Nebula, Locus, Crawford, and British Book Awards. A Marshall Scholar, Kuang holds an MPhil in Chinese Studies from Cambridge, an MSc from Oxford, and is currently completing a PhD in East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale.
