Robin Hobb is a New York Times bestselling American author of epic fantasy, widely beloved for deeply emotional, character-driven storytelling set in richly imagined worlds. She is the author of five critically acclaimed fantasy series: The Farseer Trilogy, The Liveship Traders Trilogy, The Tawny Man Trilogy, The Soldier Son Trilogy, and The Rain Wilds Chronicles. Robin Hobb is a pen name; she has also published under the name Megan Lindholm. Her work has been praised by George R.R. Martin as fantasy as it ought to be written. She lives in Tacoma, Washington.
