Suzanne Collins
Suzanne Collins is the internationally bestselling American author of The Hunger Games series, one of the most successful young adult dystopian franchises in publishing history. The series has been sold in 55 languages and spent over eight years on the New York Times bestseller list. The original trilogy, comprising The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay, was followed by the prequels The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and Sunrise on the Reaping, the latter of which sold over 1.5 million copies in its first week on release in March 2025 and is being adapted for cinema with a release planned for November 2026. Collins is also the author of the middle grade Underland Chronicles series and was a former children's television writer. She lives in Connecticut.
